How Is This Possible? Is It Real?
If you are suffering pain due to the condition of your teeth, and/or you are lacking simple daily function such as being able to chew your food properly without pain, you may be able to establish medical necessity for your dental implant treatment and have medical insurance (not dental insurance) step in to pay for it. Here at Austin 3D Dental, we are one of the few offices in the USA that has a dedicated medical billing team that makes filing for this type of coverage more accessible, something that most dental offices don't have. Take our 60-second smile quiz to see if you qualify, and to schedule a call with one of our treatment coordinators.
How Much Can Be Covered?
Dental insurance often provides little-to-no coverage for dental implants, due to the fact that the treatment is widely viewed as "cosmetic" by insurance. This leaves patients with out-of-pocket expenses ranging from $20,000 to $50,000+ for full-mouth dental implants. While this type of treatment is worth every penny, it is cost prohibitive to many people.
However, if dental implants are proven to be medically necessary for the patient, medical insurance may step in to provide coverage for the procedure, just like a hip replacement or other major surgery. In this scenario, a patient would only be responsible to cover their deductible and any other out-of-pocket expenses, bringing cost to as low as ~$2,000 or less for a $60,000+ full-mouth reconstruction procedure *illustrative example, every patient is different.
With this now being a possibility, we believe it is worth it to check if you're eligible for medical necessity coverage. Our team here at Austin 3D Dental will help you explore this new way of funding one of the most life-changing treatments in existence. And, if you aren't a candidate for medical coverage, we still offer discounts for cash pay patients, and can even get you set up with a payment plan to make treatment affordable.

Common question:
Full mouth dental implants provide several advantages over conventional dentures, such as a more natural appearance, increased durability, enhanced comfort, and improved stability. These implants require less maintenance compared to dentures and can be cared for with regular oral hygiene routines. Additionally, they contribute to better jawbone preservation by replacing tooth roots, preventing jawbone recession and maintaining a natural, attractive smile.

Know The Facts
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need a dental implant?
There are several reasons why you may need a dental implant, such as having lost a tooth due to an injury or periodontal disease, having a missing tooth that affects your ability to chew and speak, having a visible gap in your smile due to a missing tooth, or having an ill-fitting denture or bridge. If you are experiencing any of these issues, it may be worth considering a dental implant. However, it is important to consult with a dentist or oral surgeon to determine if a dental implant is the best option for you, as they will be able to evaluate your oral health and determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure.
Are dental implants expensive? Are they worth the cost?
Dental implants are a long-term investment in your oral health, and the cost can vary depending on a number of factors such as the number of teeth being replaced, the type of implant being used, and the complexity of the procedure. While dental implants may initially be more expensive than other tooth replacement options, they can provide a number of benefits that make them worth the cost. Dental implants are designed to look and function like natural teeth, and they can help to preserve the integrity of your jawbone and surrounding teeth. They can also improve your ability to chew and speak, and they can help to maintain the natural shape of your face. Ultimately, the decision to get dental implants is a personal one and should be based on your specific oral health needs and financial situation. Our team at Austin 3D Dental is here to help you understand your options and make an informed decision.
Are dental implants difficult to care for?
Dental implants are designed to be durable and long-lasting, and they can be cared for in much the same way as natural teeth. It is important to brush and floss regularly to keep the area around the implant clean and free of plaque and food debris, and to visit your dentist regularly for checkups and cleanings. Avoiding smoking, biting or chewing hard foods, and using your teeth to open packaging can also help ensure the long-term success of your implant. If you have any concerns about the care of your dental implant, your dentist can provide specific instructions and advice.
